First rhyme ever sent
caused pain.
Hung up on me
never spoke to me again.
In poetry hung
a deadly fore-edge.
Did not comprehend,
sword swallowing my pen.
Brazening out
after hungers raw
tragic meat.
As if tearing
at its crucifixion
a wild gallows heat.
Hermes wandered in
tuneful and allective.
Contrary
doleful
unrepentant.
Divine conveyor
of under world souls.
Rattling with mischief,
hunger and grief.
And the wisdom
of a thief.
Shimmering
with cunning,
safe-cracked
the sublime.
That haunting swoon
sepulchral
of illaqueate
infinites.
Guardian ghosts
of the indomitable.
Unruly swirls
of sorrow.
Into its traps,
dare we pined.
Forebode with character
of my crime.
Infibred
splitting differences
and the obduracy
of rhyme.
