A muse that loves misses ?
like strange defenseless kisses
And a sorrow that swells
to drown itself in mischief
Dormants that sabotage,
ploy and play
Loath to love again ?
send me on my way --
Pledges push fetches
out across edges
Fathomed to a dance
lingering with death
Blazons out a rocket
in my pocket
Troopers call it rent
a cruel riddle
That hangs down the middle
shifty with menaces
And shimmering tentatives
hungry at sea
Dangling off
an ambiguous key.
